Proceed as follows to enter activities using the VDO Chart Analyser:
1. Rotate the chart anti-clockwise until the analyser crosshair marks the start of the next non-rest activity
(start of time recording).
2. While the chart is rotating, the Chart Analyser transfers the recorded times.
3. Click on the appropriate PC keyboard button or the on-screen button for the activity.
D = Drive
R = Rest
P = Passive / Available
A = Active
The activity is now linked with the start time.
Optionally you may enter the distance driven and the fuel consumption. The duration is calculated automatically
as soon as the next activity starts and the mode is shown on the diagram of the chart activities.
Tip !
You can now click on the Archive Management Working Time module to check the entered data - you can
also evaluate the data by clicking on Reports
Important
If you want to save a chart on a day upon which a public holiday or other event has already been saved, a
warning message will be displayed. This can be ignored and the chart saved by clicking on [OK].
Repeat steps 1 to 3 for each
further activity and then
complete the activity entry
procedure by clicking on
[End] .1. or keying the END
button on the PC Keyboard.
When finished entering all
modes
Click on
[Save and New] .2. if you
want to capture another
chart.
The entry page for the chart
centre fields is displayed
again.
[Save and Close] .3. if you
don't want to enter the
details of another chart.
The Download tab is
displayed again.
[Cancel] .4. if you don't
want to save the new data.
