6.1 Startup

When starting TIS-Office for the first time after installation, the "Basic" module

will be activated in demo mode. To run further modules in demo mode and test

them for a period of 40 days, enter the software keys included on the product

CD.

6.1.1 Starting TIS-Office

When starting the program for the first time, you will be prompted to confirm the

"Basic" module's software key.

Follow these steps to start TIS-Office for the first time:

Important

Please note that the "Scanner" module's functions are limited in demo mode.

The scan process can only be simulated with stored chart images.

To use all the functions in TIS-Office without any restrictions, you must enter

the licensed software keys. Please refer to Chapter 7 "Licensing".

1 Start TIS-Office by

– double-clicking on the TIS-Office icon on the desktop or

– selecting "[start] > All Programs > TIS-Office > TIS-Office 2".

The TIS-Office dialogue box for entering the software key will open.

Important

This dialogue box will only open when starting the program for the first time

after installation. You can open this dialogue box again later to enter further

software keys; please refer to Chapter 6.1.2 "Activating further modules (demo

mode)" from page 6-7.
