Then the installation program will search for existing databases. If

• an earlier TIS-Office database version is found, you can update it now or

later. Select

– [Yes] if you want to update the database structure to the latest version.

– [No] if you want to keep the old database structure.

When TIS-Office is installed, you must update the databases manually

using the TIS-OFFICE Upgradefunction in ToolBox. If not, you cannot

start TIS-Office.

For further information please refer to Chapter 5.5 "Upgrading-TIS-

Office". You will also find detailed information on how to upgrade earlier

TIS-Office database versions in the TIS-Office ToolBox User Guide.

• a database installed with another application is found, you will be prompted

to enter the database user name and password. Continue with step 13.

• no database is found, the TIS-Office database will be created. Continue

with step 14.

Database server:

13 Enter the correct user name and the password for the system or database

administrator and click on [Next >].

Generally, the default user name is sa (if it has not been changed).

The password will be displayed in the form of wildcard characters.
